Our music therapists have completed the necessary safer recruitment checks and these are kept up to date. Copies of documents are available upon request.
Victoria McCrea
BSc (Hons), MA
Director of Services / Clinical Supervisor / Music Therapist
Victoria has trained at Keele
university in music and psychology
and at Derby university as a music
therapist. Her main instruments are
saxophone, clarinet, steel pan,
ukulele and piano.

After many years of working within different services, she decided to start Kent Music Therapy to create a central hub for therapists and clients alike.
Victoria will be your main contact throughout your journey with Kent Music Therapy.
Anne James
BA (Hons), DipMT, PGCE
Music Therapist
Anne is a singer-songwriter who trained to be a music therapist in 2003. Anne works
with adults and children and enjoys using song writing in sessions. As well as singing,
Anne plays the flute and piano and you can find her performing in and around
Kent as a solo act or with her band
Hannah James
BSc (Hons), MA
Music Therapist
Hannah qualified as a music therapist in 2022 and begun her journey working in a
hospice for children and adults. She has many specialisms and works with
clients who have disabilities,
brain injuries and those who
have experienced loss.
Hannah is also part of the barbershop quartet Muddy Stilettos alongside Chantel.
Overall, Hannah enjoys using music
to foster expression, connection and emotional wellbeing.
Chantel Parsons
BM, MA
Music Therapist
Chantel qualified as a music therapist in 2025. She has spent time working with neurodivergent clients and within adult psychiatric settings (including singing for dementia). As a neurodivergent therapist herself, she has a special interest in working within that community.
A lifelong singer and pianist, Chantel has directed choirs and is active within the British barbershop singing community, judging contests, coaching ensembles and performing with her quartet, the Muddy Stilettos.
Nadia Bailey
BA Mus, PGDipMT
Music Therapist
Nadia qualified in 2004 and has mainly worked with children and young people. She
enjoys meeting each individual's needs and forming trusting and meaningful
relationships through shared music making.
Nadia's main instrument is the violin and
she is a member of a local improvising orchestra and multidisciplinary improvising
women's group.
Alison Withey-Harison
BM, MA
Music Therapist
Alison qualified as a music therapist at Roehampton University in 2022. She works with older adults, people living with dementia, people with learning disabilities, and has led singing for wellbeing groups.
With over 25 years’ teaching experience, she also teaches primary school music lessons. Alison sings, plays piano and recorder. She performs with a choir, and enjoys directing and taking part in amateur theatre.
Hetty Pound
BA (Hons), PGCE
Music Therapy Assistant
Hetty is a singer and multi-instrumentalist. Hetty is currently in training to become a creative therapist. You will find Hetty helping out in our group sessions or offering individual music or art for
wellbeing sessions to build
upon her work experience.

Hetty has a passion for working with refuges, children and leads choirs for wellbeing.
​
Hetty also has own café in Deal called Pop up cafe and organises local projects.
